I am blessed to have been in the healing profession since 2003. While I was pursuing my undergraduate degree in Health Education at San Francisco State University, I became a Certified Reiki Healer and Massage Therapist. Working with people one on one using these therapeutic healing modalities, I discovered my passion and love for helping people to heal naturally. After I graduated from SFSU, I worked in an Acupuncture clinic, and I began to witness the depth and the wisdom that Chinese Medicine offered as a natural healing practice.

When I was faced with my own health challenges, I personally learned what is possible from holistic medicine. A serious imbalance in my digestive system had resulted in severe food allergies, acne, fatigue and depression. Doctor's gave me the diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue, but said that was only a guess and could not be certain what the problem was or how to help me. I was completely hopeless, and so I turned to Chinese Medicine. I put my trust into a healer's hands, and I committed to healing myself naturally with acupuncture, Qi gong, dietary therapy and Chinese herbs. It was not an easy process, but I learned more about myself and the capacity I have to heal on all levels of my being, body, mind and spirit.

During my healing process, I decided to go to Tai Sophia Institute for my Masters in Acupuncture, to dedicate my life to the medicine that was helping me regain health and balance. Chinese Medicine was not my magic bullet. Meaning, it did not cure my imbalance without asking of anything from me in return. Healing required of me patience, persistence and integrity to live up to my highest expression of self. Through a lot of ups and downs, I have personally learned what it takes to commit to living a healthy life. I have learned that it means taking responsibility for the choices we have made, to make the positive changes we know are necessary, and to let go of whatever thoughts, emotions or memories that hold us back from living life positively and with purpose.

I received my Masters in Acupuncture in June of 2012, and I am so grateful to be able to share this healing medicine with my patients. I am licensed by the Maryland State Board of Acupuncture. In May of 2013, I completed a two year post-graduate clinical integration course with internationally renowned Master of Chinese Medicine, Lonny Jarrett.   From this course, I learned in-depth diagnositic skills to inform me in more accurately diagnosing and treating my patients.

I now combine all of my training and education to provide my patients with a holistic approach to healing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I offer a unique experience of combining the healing powers of Reiki and Acupuncture together in treatment. My experience has been that this can boost healing potential and create profound healing opportunities for my patients. I am passionate about partnering with my patients to help them create a life in which they are thriving and living up to their highest potential in every way!
